Welcome to the June 2024 Quarterly Meeting

The June 2024 BioData Catalyst Quarterly Meeting is organized by the BDC Coordinating Center (BDC3) and the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This will be a hybrid in-person/virtual meeting. The meeting will take place on June 13 from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. ET, and June 14 from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm ET.

Venue Information

The June 2024 QM is a Hybrid in-person & online meeting. The online component of the meeting will be held via Zoom. The in-person component of the meeting will be at RENCI's office at 100 Europa Dr Ste 540, Chapel Hill, NC 27517. 

Hotel Information

Sheraton Chapel Hill Hotel – 0.3 miles: One Europa Dr, Chapel Hill, NC 27517, is 0.3 miles from RENCI. There is no hotel block available. Rooms can be reserved by calling 919-968-4900. 

Tru by Hilton Chapel Hill – 0.5 miles: 1742 Fordham Blvd, Chapel Hill, NC 27514, is 0.5 miles from RENCI.  There is no hotel block available. Rooms can be reserved by calling 984-291-7200. *Breakfast available.

Residence Inn Chapel Hill—1.2 miles: 101 Erwin Rd, Chapel Hill 27514, is 1.2 miles from RENCI. No hotel block is available; note the Residence Inn is a short walk across a busy roadway. Rooms can be reserved by calling 919-933-4848.

Social Events

There will be two open social events for in-person meeting attendees. 

  • Pre-meeting (Day 0): The Loop: June 12, 6:00-7:30 pm ET. 
    • Address: 1800 E Franklin St, Chapel Hill, NC 27514. Join us for an informal drop-in dinner at The Loop. Self-Pay. 
  • End of Day 1: Geer Street Garden: June 13, 5:30-8:00 pm ET. 
    • Address: 644 Foster St, Durham, NC 27701. Join us at Geer Steet Garden for food and fun.
    • A roundtrip shuttle will be provided from RENCI to Geer Street Garden. Pickup will be at 5:30 pm at RENCI's office. The shuttle will then pick up everyone from outside Geer Street Garden at 8:00 pm and return to RENCI's office.
  • Additional Optional Activity Day 1: Boxcar: June 13, 7:00-8:00 pm ET. 
    • Located directly across the street from Geer Street Garden, enjoy games and beverages at Boxcar Barcade.
